Biography

A strategy, business growth and market intelligence specialist with 30 years' experience developing profitable and sustainable strategies and identifying and analysing organic and inorganic growth opportunities within the global logistics, postal and express sectors.

During his career, Joel has undertaken hundreds of projects, across many geographies, creating significant value for logistics operators, retailers, manufacturers and other client companies’ businesses, by facilitating growth and optimising processes and costs.

These projects have involved extensive travel to target countries to meet with companies to fully understand the market conditions, different operational requirements, competitive landscapes and distinct customer buying behaviour. This work includes:

  • Strategy Development - Strategy formulation, strategic repositioning, gap analysis, risk analysis.
  • Identifying and Developing Growth Opportunities - Identifying attractive and profitable prospects, including geographic growth, new industry sector opportunities, vertical sector expansion and designing market entry strategies.
