Wayne has extensive experience in the Transport & Logistics industry within the Asia Pacific Region, both from an Operational & Corporate Executive perspective. He joined the Toll Group, Australia’s largest & most diversified Transport & Logistics Group in 1990, and left in December 2014. During the period between August 2007 to December 2014, Wayne served as the CEO/President of Toll Asia and Toll Global Logistics based out of Singapore; from 2006 to 2007 as Group General Manager Intermodal Rail at Pacific National Melbourne, Australia; from 1998 to 2006 as Divisional General Manager of Toll Auto Logistics; from 1996 to 1998 as Group General Manager Business Development – Toll Group; from 1993 – 1995 as National Sales & Marketing Manager of Toll Express based out of Sydney and then Melbourne; and NSW Marketing Manager Toll Express from 1990 to 1993. During his time at the Toll Group, Wayne was part of the Senior Executive Team responsible for Revenues of the Group growing from Aud $27 Million per Annum 1990 to Aud$8.8 Billion per Annum as at December 2014 through both Acquisitions and Organic growth, including the introduction of greenfield start-ups in new Services & Markets. The Toll Group listed on the Australian Stock Exchange October, 1993.

During his time based in Singapore, Wayne developed the concept and also led the Team that has been successful in gaining a two year trial from November 2014 of Super B-Double Semi Trailers within Singapore – an innovation showing significant Productivity & Environmental benefits to the Economy of Singapore. Wayne continues to lead these Trials on behalf of the Toll Group during implementation.

Prior to joining the Toll Group, Wayne worked from 1987 as National Marketing Manager for the privately owned National Transport Company Quicktrans Pty Ltd based out of Sydney (merged with K&S Freighters 1990). Previous to that he spent seven years in various operational and Senior Management roles within Brambles Industrial Services, & Brambles Cranes and Heavy Haulage Division, in South Australia.

Wayne is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport; and serves on the Advisory Board of Supply Chain Asia.
